Digital marketing advice and a free night at the movies for every Australian Small Business owner…How do you fancy a free night at the movies with an educational twist?

Yellow Pages and Google are offering you the chance to attend an insightful presentation on digital marketing education at one of 17 locations around Australia…and they’ll even throw in a free private screening of a new blockbuster movie afterwards!

It’s been quite a while since I last found the time for a trip to the cinema.
In fact, I think I may have been left a little traumatised by this painful experience.

Old Bert had come bounding into my office with unusual excitement and enthusiasm, tightly clutching a couple of tickets in his fist.
He started babbling on about how, against all the odds, he had somehow managed to secure VIP front-row tickets to the premiere of an incredible new film that we both just had to go and see that very night.

I was a little dubious at first. I wasn’t entirely convinced that Old Bert and I shared the same cultural tastes, and I wasn’t quite sure what to make of the title of the film;
Mole and Spanner.

But Old Bert assured me that it was an amazing new Hollywood blockbuster action comedy movie featuring two private detectives, Mole and Spanner, who hate each other but are forced to work together on the same case with explosive, hilarious, and deeply profound results.
That sounded reasonable enough to me, so I accepted my ticket (after he’d charged me for it!) and happily accompanied Martin Print’s resident caretaker to the local cinema.

He lied.
As I had initially suspected, the film was in fact a four-hour documentary on the history of mole wrenches and spanners.

Make yourself comfortable with free slices of expert advice on digital marketing for Small Businesses, and a private showing of a Hollywood blockbuster!It was black and white, too. And subtitled.
To top it all off, halfway through this nightmare, Old Bert passed me a bucket of Sesame Ginger Popcorn, when I’d specifically asked for just plain old Buttered.
That’s the last time I trust Old Bert with an evening’s entertainment.

Fortunately, Australian Small Business owners are now being invited to a far more interesting and rewarding cinematic experience.
Yellow Pages has teamed up with Google to present Strictly Digital – a completely free big-screen event which is being staged around local cinemas throughout Australia from April to September.

Each of the nights will feature a presentation by experts from Google and Sensis on the latest techniques and strategies of Small Business digital marketing, followed by the private screening of a new Hollywood blockbuster!

Registration for each event is completely free, and I have been reliably assured that this ‘Hollywood blockbuster’ will most definitely not be another spirit-crushing screening of Mole and Spanner.

The speakers at Strictly Digital promise to explain the crucial differences between Search Engine Optimisation and Search Engine Marketing, show you exactly how to stand out from your online rivals, help you to learn and understand the online behaviour of your potential clients, and reveal the best possible channels for reaching out to them.

And even if you fall asleep during all that important stuff, you can always just sit back with your popcorn and enjoy the free movie later on!

There are 17 events still to take place in the following locations;

Frankston, and Narre Warren.

Norwood

New South Wales
Chatswood, Parramatta, Penrith, CoffsHarbour, Newcastle, Tuggerah and Wollongong.

As for me, I’ll going to try my luck with another trip to the cinema tonight.
Doris, our resident cleaner, has kindly invited me along to a VIP premiere of a new film called Bucket and Mop.

Apparently, it’s a hotly anticipated new Hollywood blockbuster action comedy movie featuring two private detectives, Bucket and Mop, who hate each other but are forced to work together on the same case with…

Wait a minute…
